Chandigarh,30.09.23. Maharshi Dayanand Public School, MDAV Bhavan, Daria, in collaboration with Environment Department, Chandigarh Administration, organized a cycle rally and planted saplings on the occasion of Green Consumer Day. Most of the students of Eco Club of the school participated in the cycle rally. A cycling club has also been formed in the school.
School Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar himself also participated in the rally. Highlighting the importance of cycling to the students, he said that cycling keeps a person healthy.
As per advice of School Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar, saplings of Peepal, Banyan, Neem and Palash were planted to keep the eviornmenr healthy.
