Chandigarh, 7 August 2026: Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh concluded its two-day flagship event - The Bhavan ComMUNiqué 2026, with a grand closing ceremony. The two-day event featured a unique confluence of Business Conclave and Model United Nations (MUN), providing students with a dynamic platform to engage in business strategy, diplomacy, critical thinking, negotiation, collaborative problem-solving, innovation and leadership skills. The event witnessed participation from 450 delegates representing 51 schools across India.

Mr. Madhukar Malhotra, Honorary Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra graced the event as the Chief Guest. Ms. Vineeta Arora, Director (Edu) cum Sr. Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh, Ms. Kunika Sharma, Principal, Junior School; Ms. Suparna Bansal, Vice-Principal, Chandigarh and Ms. Sneha Wadhwa, Vice Principal, New Chandigarh were also present.

The Cultural Programme commenced with a musical treat by the Bhavan Vidyalaya Band, which captivated the audience with a medley of popular Bollywood songs, setting a lively tone for the event. This was followed by an electrifying Bhangra performance that brought alive the essence of Punjab’s zestful heritage. A special ‘Behind the Scenes’ video was also screened, which provided a glimpse into the meticulous planning, preparation and highlights of the two-day event.

In his address, the Chief Guest, Mr. Madhukar Malhotra lauded the spirit of young delegates and emphasised the importance of dialogue, leadership and global awareness fostered through such platforms. He congratulated the participants and urged them to continue developing into confident, articulate and socially responsible leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vineeta Arora, commended the participants for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to embrace opportunities that develop leadership skills, critical thinking and effective communication.

The program concluded with the Award Ceremony, where meritorious delegates were felicitated for their outstanding performance in different categories.

The Closing Ceremony marked the successful culmination of the fourth edition of the Bhavan ComMUNiqué 2026, reaffirming Bhavan Vidyalaya’s commitment to nurturing future leaders through experiential learning.
