Mohali, July 09:Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC), Punjab, has successfully performed over 100 complex robotic surgeries in just six months, at no additional cost to the patients. HBCHRC is the only government hospital in Punjab to have reached the landmark achievement.
The plan for robotic surgery facility was announced in August last year. “At the time of launch, we had committed to providing robotic surgeries free of cost to the first 80 patients. All 100 patients received the treatment at no additional cost.
