Chandigarh, 02.11.25-: The city’s Sunday morning got a power-packed start as 18 bikers rode in style to Burger Bae, Sector 8, on their Harley Davidsons, Kawasakis, Royal Enfields, Suzuki Hayabusas, Honda Transalps, and KTMs — coming together to share not just their passion for the road, but also for great food.
Burger Bae—already a favourite among food lovers—turned into a buzzing pit stop for riders, filled with laughter, engines revving, and the aroma of freshly baked buns.
Speaking on the occasion, Ankita Chopra, Director & Production Head at Burger Bae, said,“We are proud to be the first in India to introduce live baking of burger buns. From our Freshly Baked Neapolitan Bun to our Soft Potato Buns and our Signature Eggless Broiche creations, every bite is a celebration of flavour. We’ve even introduced authentic Japanese Shokupan Bread for its softness and subtle sweetness for our Sando Sandwiches —because for us, this isn’t just fast food, it’s a Fun Food Cult.”
Founder, Salil Chopra, added,“The architectural design of Burger Bae draws inspiration from Flintstones(Millennials Childhood Favourite) & Chandigarh’s iconic Rock Garden—reflecting creativity, culture, and community. Our seating, inspired by Shanti Niketan, uses warm wooden elements to evoke nostalgia and comfort.”
The bikers, who often plan their weekend rides over breakfast meets, couldn’t stop raving about the experience.
Rabbi Sandhu, a Harley Davidson rider, shared,“The Sunday breakfast is a ritual for us bikers. The food at Burger Bae was fantastic—especially the Paneer Neapolitan. Juicy, Hearty and absolutely worth the ride.”
Rahul Mishra, another participant, added,“One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. If you’re a coffee freak, don’t wait—just go try it!”And Namit Kumar, who rides a Kawasaki, summed it up perfectly:“I loved the Smash Burgers—especially the Lambzilla. It’s a must-try for burger lovers, each bite oozing with flavourful burst of juice from the fresh lamb patty & the bun, melt in the mouth with the juices & Cheese, umami bomb to savour & devour.
As the engines cooled and plates emptied, one thing was clear—Burger Bae isn’t just a café; it’s a new-age hangout redefining how Chandigarh enjoys its Cult Sundays.
