Chandigarh, October 26: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi shared thoughts that touched the hearts of millions during the 127th edition of his popular radio programme Mann Ki Baat.

Sh. Vij listened to the broadcast live along with eminent citizens at the Indian Roller Restaurant in Ambala Cantonment. Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said that, as every month, Prime Minister Modi’s words were once again full of inspiration and guidance for the people of the nation.

The Energy Minister said that, as always, people across the country gathered in various places to listen to Mann Ki Baat. “Prime Minister Modi spoke about the importance of our ancient language Sanskrit and emphasized that the love and respect for Sanskrit is being rekindled across the country. This is a wonderful sign of reconnecting with the roots of Indian culture,” he added.

Sh. Vij further said that the Prime Minister mentioned the national song Vande Mataram, reminding everyone that during the freedom struggle, the song infused boundless energy and patriotism among the revolutionaries.

He also shared that Prime Minister Modi spoke about India’s festivals and traditions, including Chhath Puja, which reflects India’s cultural unity and deep-rooted faith. The Prime Minister also highlighted the growing international demand for Indian coffee, underscoring its rich quality.

Sh. Vij noted that through Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi establishes a meaningful dialogue with people by touching upon a wide range of subjects every month. “The Prime Minister always connects emotionally with every section of society through his words,” he added.

Chandigarh, October 26: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, said that the “Run for Unity” programme will be organized across all four mandals of Ambala Cantonment on October 31 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Sh. Vij was presiding over a meeting of BJP Ambala Cantonment’s Core Committee, along with various office-bearers and representatives, at the PWD Rest House in Ambala Cantonment today.

He said that Sardar Patel was the architect of united India. With his exceptional vision and firm determination, the Iron Man of India integrated 563 princely states into the Republic of India, thereby strengthening national unity. Sh. Vij added that the “Run for Unity” will be organized separately in all four mandals of BJP Ambala Cantonment — Sadar Mandal, Mahesh Nagar Mandal, Gramin Mandal, and Shastri Mandal. As part of the programme, padyatras (foot marches) will also be conducted.

Committees have been constituted for the successful organization of the event, with Lalta Prasad, Sanjeev Soni, Vijender Chauhan, Ravi Buddhiraja, Vikas Bahgal, Pravesh Sharma, and Harsh Bindra appointed as members. Minister Vij also issued directions regarding preparations and coordination for the event.

*Review of Development and Organizational Activities in Ambala Cantonment*

During the meeting, Energy Minister Anil Vij also reviewed the progress of various ongoing development works in Ambala Cantonment. Committees were formed to monitor works such as road construction, drainage development, culvert repairs, and streetlight maintenance in different areas. At the mandal level, the following members were appointed, Sadar Mandal: Ravi Buddhiraja and Ashish Agarwal, Mahesh Nagar Mandal: Harsh Bindra and Vijender Chauhan, Gramin Mandal: Vikas Bahgal and Kiranpal Chauhan and Shastri Mandal: Pravesh Sharma and Balit Nagpal. The meeting also included a detailed discussion on various development projects and organizational matters related to Ambala Cantonment.
