Chandigarh, October 17 – Haryana's Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij today raised questions about statements made by US President Donald Trump, mocking him by saying, "Is dreams do come true!" Sh. Vij said that “I feel that Hon’ble Narendra Modi ji appears in Donald Trump’s dreams, and Donald Trump talks to Prime Minister Modi in his dreams, then wakes up in the morning and makes announcements to the media.”
Sh. Vij was responding to a media question in Ambala Cantonment after the Mukhymantri Gramin Awas Yojna 2.0 (Phase-2) program regarding Trump’s recent claim that India had agreed not to buy oil from Russia.
Replying to the media, the Energy Minister said that “Once again, US President Donald Trump has claimed that he spoke to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Modi agreed that India would not purchase oil from Russia. However, the Indian government has denied this claim.” Sh. Vij added that “This has happened before as well, during Operation Sindoor, when Trump claimed he mediated an agreement, but the Indian government said no such conversation took place.”
This morning, Sh. Vij posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle: “ek baar phir donaald ankal ne bhaarat ke roos se tel kee nakal karate hue peeem modee ke baare mein baat karane ka daava kiya hai lekin bhaarat sarakaar ne isakee pushti kee hai. pahale opareshan sindoor ke baare mein bhee aisa ho chuka hai. mujhe lagata hai ki narendr modee vahaan par sapane dekhane aae hain aur vahaan gae hain, peeem modee se baat kar chuke hain aur subah uthakar meediya mein ailaan kar rahe hain. lekin sapane bhee kabhee sach hote hain?”
