Chandigarh, 2 April 2024: With the holy grace of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, a free sewing and embroidery center is being run in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Sector 30-A, Chandigarh. Every year, the participants who complete the sewing and embroidery course are examined by the Social Welfare Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi and certificates are given to the passed students.

Local coordinator Shri Navneet Pathak ji told that last year from January 2023 to December 2023, 9 girl students passed the examination and received certificates.

The women trained through this center can easily earn livelihood sitting at home and the center is helping them to move ahead in life and become self-reliant. For this, free training in sewing and embroidery is given by the mission. In this training center, only Mission machines are used for teaching and they are being trained by the qualified and trained teacher Mrs. Kailash Devi.

Sant Nirankari Mission is a spiritual ideology which connects man's soul with God by providing him with Brahmagyan, thereby creating a feeling of mutual brotherhood. Sant Nirankari Mission is making an important contribution in spiritual awareness as well as social welfare and for which it has always been worthy of praise. Presently Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj is implementing Nirankari Baba Ji's message, 'Every human being should be useful to other human beings'. Nirankari Mission has always done many works for public welfare, mainly the service given for women empowerment.

Apart from this, many services are performed by the Mission for social welfare like helping the people suffering from natural calamities, rehabilitating them, contributing a lot in voluntary blood donation, cleanliness campaign, health and eye camps, educational institutions, helping the needy. Helping etc. are other social welfare programs of the mission.
