Chandigarh/Panchkula/Mohali/Aurangabad, January 31, 2023: A colorful Mass Wedding Function was organized by the Sant Nirankari Mission here today, where 48 couples tied their nuptial knot in the Holy presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji at Bidkin DMIC, Aurangabad where the 3-day 56th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam of Maharashtra concluded in the evening, yesterday.

The simple yet effective ceremony organized under the Sant Nirankari Mission’s social reform program which began with traditional ‘Jaimala’ followed by a common garland for each couple – a special feature of Nirankari wedding. Thereafter, ‘Nirankari Lavan’, the four sacred hymns were sung with music, each followed by showering of flowers by Her Holiness and Nirankari Rajpita Ji, devotees and by relatives of the newlyweds.

Her Holiness exhorted the newlywed couples to adopt each other’s families, maintain harmony and love with each other and to face the challenges with grace. The common garland which is the feature of the Nirankari weddings symbolizes that both the bride and the groom to share the household responsibilities together by invoking Formless God. Satguru Mata Ji prayed to Almighty and blessed the newlywed couples for their welfare along with Sewa, Satsang and Sumiran.

In today’s Mass Marriage Ceremony the wedding took place on inter-regional basis. The bride and the bridegrooms were from Satara, Nagpur, Raigad area, Pune Kolhapur, Ahmednagar and among the other states they were from Punjab, Chhattisgarh Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
