Dharampur (Solan). After attending the 7th Convocation of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Governor Shri Kavinder Gupta made an unscheduled halt at a café near Dharampur while proceeding to Chandigarh, where he spent some time interacting with local residents and visitors.

The Governor enjoyed a cup of coffee at the outlet and engaged in informal conversations with people present there. He enquired about the region's locally produced goods and appreciated the efforts of entrepreneurs and producers in promoting Himachal Pradesh's quality products.

Shri Gupta emphasized that local products reflect the rich heritage, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit of the State. He encouraged greater promotion of indigenous products, noting that supporting local enterprises contributes to employment generation and strengthens the rural economy.

The Governor's simple and cordial interaction was warmly received by the people, who appreciated the opportunity to meet him in an informal setting. His gesture reflected his approachable and people-centric style of public engagement and his continued interest in understanding the aspirations and experiences of citizens firsthand.
