Chandigarh July 13: Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini on Monday launched a state-wide cleanliness drive from Panchkula, with the aim of taking Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan message to every household and creating widespread public awareness about cleanliness. On the occasion, the Chief Minister personally participated in the drive and urged people to make cleanliness a mass movement.
The Chief Minister launched the campaign by sweeping the area in front of the main market in Sector-20, Panchkula. While participating in the cleanliness drive, he appealed to citizens to maintain a clean and healthy environment. He also spread awareness about the scientific and proper disposal of waste by personally collecting garbage and loading it onto a cart. As part of the programme, he also planted a sapling, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
Interacting with media persons, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that cleanliness is not the responsibility of the government alone but a collective responsibility of every citizen. He urged people to actively contribute to keeping their homes, neighbourhoods, markets, and public places clean while ensuring proper waste management.
The Chief Minister said that, inspired by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi's call for cleanliness, people across the country have embraced cleanliness as an integral part of their daily lives. He informed that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Haryana on July 17. In view of the visit, it has been decided to conduct a comprehensive cleanliness drive across Haryana from July 13 to July 17, which was launched from Panchkula on Monday.
He said Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), local public representatives, and party office-bearers would actively participate in the campaign across the state to further strengthen the vision of a clean and developed India envisioned by the Prime Minister.
Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi's visit to Haryana is a matter of pride for the people of the state. He said that during the visit, the Prime Minister would flag off a hydrogen-powered train and inaugurate as well as lay the foundation stones for several development projects.
Replying to a question, the Chief Minister said the world is witnessing the adverse effects of climate change. He said that, keeping this in view, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi launched the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, encouraging every citizen to plant and nurture at least one sapling in honour of their mother.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to participate in the campaign by planting at least one sapling and nurturing it until it grows into a full-fledged tree. He said large-scale tree plantation would help create a cleaner environment, reduce air pollution, and improve public health, thereby contributing to the prevention of various diseases. The Chief Minister said he has pledged to plant at least 100 saplings wherever he visits. In keeping with this commitment, he also participated in a plantation drive in Panchkula today.

Chandigarh, July 13:- Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said that the State should make optimum use of modern technologies to promote clean air, green transportation and sustainable development. He directed officers to develop a dedicated portal to simplify, streamline and bring greater transparency to the registration and scientific disposal of scrapped (end-of-life) vehicles.
The Chief Minister said the proposed portal would enable citizens to register their private vehicles and government departments to register obsolete officers' vehicles online, making the entire process of vehicle scrapping, registration and related procedures more convenient, efficient and transparent. He also directed officers to expedite the establishment of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the State.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was chairing the second Board meeting of the Artificial Intelligence for Resilient Jobs, Urban Air Quality and Next Generation Skills Council (ARJUN SPV) at the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, along with Administrative Secretaries and senior officers of various departments.
The Board undertook a detailed review of the Annual Action Plan for 2026–27 under the Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD). Discussions focused on departmental targets, the progress of ongoing projects and measures to ensure their timely implementation.
The Chief Minister directed officers to complete all initiatives relating to clean air, modern public transport, promotion of electric vehicles, industrial pollution control and agricultural residue management within the prescribed timelines so that Haryana can further strengthen its position among the country's leading states in environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Review of Electric Bus Services and Green Mobility Projects
The progress of expanding electric bus services in Gurugram and Faridabad, including the development of bus depots, creation of charging infrastructure and preparations for operating 200 electric buses in the next phase under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model was also reviewed. Furthermore, progress on developing the necessary infrastructure for introducing electric bus services in Sonipat was also discussed.
The Chief Minister directed officers to accelerate the installation of EV charging stations across Haryana to encourage greater adoption of electric vehicles and ensure easy access to charging facilities for citizens.
Review of the proposed amendments to the State's Electric Vehicle Policy, plans to establish 100 EV charging stations across Haryana and initiatives to promote clean and environmentally friendly technologies among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was also done.
Detailed discussions were also held on making crop residue management more effective, launching extensive awareness campaigns for farmers and adopting demand assessment and technological interventions for the scientific management of agricultural residues.
AI-Based Air Quality Management
The Board also reviewed measures to strengthen air quality management, including the preparation of a State Emission Inventory, development of an AI-based Decision Support System, mechanisms for inter-departmental data sharing and efforts to reinforce the Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System.
The Chief Minister stressed the need for effective coordination among all departments, maximum utilisation of modern technology and timely implementation of every project. He directed officers to regularly monitor each project and ensure the achievement of all prescribed targetsDetailed discussions were also done regarding strengthening financial management, monitoring mechanisms, public awareness campaigns, grievance redressal systems and inter-departmental coordination under the project.

HSVP Plot allottees given another opportunity to avail benefits under 'Vivadon Se Samadhan Yojana 2026'

Chandigarh, July 13- The Haryana Government has provided another opportunity to eligible allottees of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to avail the benefits of the 'Vivadon Se Samadhan Yojana 2026', with the last date for the scheme fixed as December 31, 2026.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the public welfare scheme covers a total of 103 sectors and is expected to benefit around 5,085 allottees. Under this scheme, eligible allottees will receive significant rebates totalling over Rs. 770 crore. The scheme offers a one-time settlement of disputes related to plot enhancement charges and also provides a special opportunity for allottees who could not avail themselves of the benefits under previous settlement schemes. The eligibility criteria have been expanded to include residential plot allottees, floor-wise registrations, group housing sites, institutional plots, and industrial plots.
The spokesperson further said that the entire process has been made digital and transparent. Eligible allottees can log in to the HSVP portal using their Plot ID and password to view the rebate amount applicable to them in real time. Those requiring any assistance or additional information may contact their respective HSVP Estate Office or submit their request online through the portal.

Haryana Approves Rs. 6,566.52 lakh Modern 50-Bed Hospital for Barwala in Hisar District
Chandigarh, July 13- In a major boost to rural healthcare infrastructure, the Haryana Government has granted administrative approval for the construction of a new 50-bed modern hospital at Barwala in Hisar district. The ambitious project is estimated to cost Rs. 6,566.52 lakh.
Sharing the details, Haryana Health Minister, Ms. Arti Singh Rao said the state government is committed to strengthening healthcare facilities in rural areas by providing quality and modern medical services on par with urban centres. The proposed hospital at Barwala is a significant step in that direction.
The Health Minister said no additional land acquisition will be required for the project, as the new hospital will be constructed within the existing campus of the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Barwala.
She said the upcoming 50-bed facility will significantly enhance healthcare services in Barwala and adjoining rural areas. Once operational, residents of Barwala and dozens of nearby villages will have access to advanced medical care closer to home, reducing the need to travel to larger cities for treatment.
The project is expected to strengthen the region's public healthcare infrastructure, improve access to specialised medical services, and ensure timely treatment for thousands of patients in the area.

Chandigarh, July 13- Haryana Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare, and Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, said that any negligence in addressing public grievances will not be tolerated. He directed officers to ensure that citizens' complaints are resolved in a timely, transparent, and sensitive manner.
The Minister was speaking at the meeting of the District Public Relations and Public Grievances Committee held today in Fatehabad, where a total of 14 cases were taken up for hearing. Of these, six were resolved on the spot, while inquiry committees were constituted to investigate the remaining eight cases. The committees have been directed to submit their reports at the next meeting.
Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the Public Grievances Committee is not merely a platform for hearing complaints but an effective mechanism for ensuring timely justice for citizens. He directed all officers to ensure the prompt implementation of every decision taken by the committee, thereby strengthening public confidence in the administration. During the meeting, grievances related to the Police Department, Urban Local Bodies, Agriculture Department, Power Utilities, and several other departments were reviewed, with necessary directions issued for their resolution.
During the meeting, the Minister directed that a show-cause notice be issued to Vinod Verma, XEN, Water Services Division, Hisar, for remaining absent without prior intimation. Taking serious note of complaints against Rajinder, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Irrigation Department, regarding alleged misconduct with employees and repeated negligence in the discharge of official duties, the Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to forward a recommendation to the department for his suspension.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is rapidly advancing toward modern technology and world-class infrastructure. The selection of Haryana as the launch site for the country's first hydrogen-powered train reflects the state's leading role in innovation and development.
The train will operate between Jind and Sonipat. Powered entirely by hydrogen fuel. It will be an environmentally friendly mode of transport that will help reduce pollution while promoting sustainable and clean mobility.
A Proud Moment for Haryana
The Chief Minister said it is a matter of immense pride for Haryana that the nation's first hydrogen-powered train will run on the state's railway tracks. He described the project as a symbol of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.

Public Confidence in Ayurveda Grows; NIA Panchkula Sees Record Patient Footfall
NIA Panchkula Registers Record 50,000 OPD Visits in Six Months
More than 500 patients receive treatment every day at NIA Panchkula; institute offers 12 specialty OPDs and a 250-bed IPD facility
Chandigarh, July 13- The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, is steadily emerging as a trusted centre for Ayurvedic healthcare, with a sharp rise in the number of patients seeking treatment. The growing footfall in its Outpatient Department (OPD) reflects the increasing public confidence in Ayurveda. In the first six months of 2026 alone, the institute has recorded nearly 50,000 OPD visits, while more than 500 patients are availing treatment at the institute every day.
The institute treated 42,030 patients in 2024. In 2025, the number rose by nearly 50 per cent to 80,878 patients. Continuing this upward trend, almost 50,000 patients have already benefited from its healthcare services during the first half of 2026.
Patients from Haryana, Punjab, the Chandigarh Tricity region, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and several other states are visiting the National Institute of Ayurveda for treatment. The departments of Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra (Surgery), and Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology) witness the highest patient turnout. In addition, the OPDs for Agad Tantra (Toxicology), Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), and Twak Evam Saundarya (Dermatology and Cosmetology) are also attracting a large number of patients.
Operating under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the institute is providing quality healthcare services under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Sharma and Dean Prof. Gulab Chand Pamnani.
Dean In-charge Prof. Satish Gandharv said that the National Institute of Ayurveda is scaling new heights in Ayurvedic healthcare. He attributed the growing trust among patients to the availability of experienced Ayurvedic specialists along with modern diagnostic facilities. He added that the positive outcomes of Ayurvedic treatment have further strengthened public confidence in the system of medicine.
Growing Public Confidence in Ayurveda- Dr. Gaurav Garg
Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Dr. Gaurav Garg said that the institute focuses not only on treating diseases but also on promoting the overall well-being of patients. Along with medical treatment, the institute provides Yoga, Physiotherapy, Panchakarma, and other supportive therapies, enabling holistic healthcare.
He said that a large number of patients are seeking treatment for joint pain, spinal disorders, skin diseases, gynaecological and obstetric conditions, Panchakarma therapies, eye ailments, and ENT-related disorders. The institute also has a significant number of inpatients. According to him, crossing the 50,000-patient mark within just six months of 2026 clearly demonstrates the growing public faith in Ayurvedic treatment.

Medical Officer Dr. Mansi Grewal said that the institute operates 12 specialty OPDs, including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya (Ophthalmology), Shalakya (Oral, Nasal and Dental Diseases), Kaumarbhritya and Paediatrics, Agad Tantra (Toxicology), Twak Evam Saundarya (Dermatology and Cosmetology), Swasthavritta and Yoga, besides emergency services.

Chandigarh, July 13: Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that officials must ensure the timely completion of all ongoing government projects within the stipulated deadlines so that people receive their benefits without delay.
The Chief Minister was chairing the State PRAGATI Project Review Meeting, during which he reviewed in detail 12 projects worth more than Rs. 75 crore and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials.
He directed that the implementation period of any project should not be extended, as delays increase the project cost and impose an additional financial burden on the government. Moreover, such delays prevent citizens from receiving the intended benefits on time. He also directed that solar power systems be installed on the sheds being constructed at the Apple Market, Pinjore, and the International Fruits, Flowers, Vegetables and Horticulture Market at Ganaur to make these mandis self-reliant in terms of electricity.
The Chief Minister said that three air-conditioned sheds have already been constructed in the mandi. Around 20 per cent of the area will be developed as green space, and plantations will also be undertaken along both sides of the roads. He directed officials to make arrangements for a Ranney well, light and sound systems, and facilities for rainwater harvesting and its effective utilisation. He said that the mandi would emerge as one of the finest and most modern agricultural markets in North India, enabling farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and other states to market their produce and earn better returns.
*Optical Fibre Connectivity to Gram Panchayats in Final Phase*
The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite the expansion of BharatNet services to every Gram Panchayat in the state so that high-quality internet connectivity becomes available at the earliest. He said that work to provide optical fibre connectivity to 5,200 Gram Panchayats has reached the final stage, while the remaining nearly 1,000 Gram Panchayats will also be covered soon. Under the scheme, connectivity will be provided to every Gram Panchayat, school, health centre, Anganwadi, e-library and other public institutions.
*Seven-Storey 100-Bed Hospital to Come Up in Nuh at a Cost of Rs. 156 Crore*
The Chief Minister said that a seven-storey, 100-bed hospital will be constructed in Nuh at an estimated cost of around Rs. 156 crore. Construction of the boundary wall has already commenced, and the project is expected to be completed within the next two years.
He further said that the Rao Tula Ram Shaheed Memorial will be constructed at Nasibpur in Mahendragarh district, for which the architectural drawings are currently being prepared. In addition, the Maratha Shaurya Memorial will be developed over 16 acres of land at Kala Amb in Panipat, and the proposal for the project is under preparation.
*Four-Lane Corridor to be Developed up to Pinjore Garden*
The Chief Minister said that tenders worth approximately Rs. 152 crore have been floated for the construction of the Apple Market at Pinjore, and work on the project will commence this month. He directed officials to develop a four-lane road up to Pinjore Garden and transform it into an attractive corridor. He also instructed that the Tikkar Tal road be widened and strengthened.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that infrastructure including an animal farm, animal sheds and a seed store is being developed at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar, at a cost of Rs. 153 crore. A Veterinary and Animal Sciences College will also be established there, and the required formalities are being completed.
He further said that the construction of the State-Level Museum in Sector-5, Panchkula, being developed at a cost of Rs. 55 crore, is in its final stage. Tenders for artwork and related works will be invited shortly.
*Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Hisar, Global City in Gurugram*
The Chief Minister said that infrastructure is being developed for the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) in Hisar at a cost of Rs. 707 crore. The project plan has been finalised, and tenders will be invited shortly.
Similarly, work is progressing on the Global City Project in Gurugram at a cost of Rs. 1,003 crore. He directed that the road connecting Global City to Pataudi Road be widened and linked with NH-48 and the Dwarka Expressway.

Time-bound Resolution of Public Grievances is Government's Top Priority: Arti Singh Rao
High-tension power lines must be shifted within 15 days; delay in execution will not be tolerated: Minister
Chandigarh, July 13: Haryana Health, Medical Education & Research, and AYUSH Minister Arti Singh Rao said the State Government is committed to providing transparent, accountable, and responsive governance to its citizens. She directed officials to ensure that all public grievances are resolved in a time-bound manner and on priority.
Arti Singh Rao was chairing the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Faridabad today. A total of 15 grievances pertaining to various departments were placed before the committee. Of these, 12 grievances were resolved on the spot, while directions were issued for necessary action on the remaining three cases, which were deferred to the next meeting. Officials of the concerned departments also presented detailed reports on their respective cases.
Regarding a complaint about the risk of accidents due to high-tension electricity lines passing through a rural area, officials of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam informed the Minister that the work process had commenced after the required amount was deposited and that the line-shifting work would be completed within the next 15 days. Taking serious note of the matter, Arti Singh Rao instructed the officials to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay and that the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Health Minister also directed all Heads of Departments not to treat grievance disposal as a mere formality, but to visit the sites wherever necessary and ensure permanent solutions to the issues. She said that the Government's objective is to ensure that citizens are not forced to make repeated visits to government offices for the resolution of their problems. She instructed all departments to take timely action, submit compliance reports, and handle all public interest matters with complete sensitivity, accountability, and responsibility.

Chandigarh, July 13- Haryana Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare, and Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, said that any negligence in addressing public grievances will not be tolerated. He directed officers to ensure that citizens' complaints are resolved in a timely, transparent, and sensitive manner.
The Minister was speaking at the meeting of the District Public Relations and Public Grievances Committee held today in Fatehabad, where a total of 14 cases were taken up for hearing. Of these, six were resolved on the spot, while inquiry committees were constituted to investigate the remaining eight cases. The committees have been directed to submit their reports at the next meeting.
Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the Public Grievances Committee is not merely a platform for hearing complaints but an effective mechanism for ensuring timely justice for citizens. He directed all officers to ensure the prompt implementation of every decision taken by the committee, thereby strengthening public confidence in the administration. During the meeting, grievances related to the Police Department, Urban Local Bodies, Agriculture Department, Power Utilities, and several other departments were reviewed, with necessary directions issued for their resolution.
During the meeting, the Minister directed that a show-cause notice be issued to Vinod Verma, XEN, Water Services Division, Hisar, for remaining absent without prior intimation. Taking serious note of complaints against Rajinder, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Irrigation Department, regarding alleged misconduct with employees and repeated negligence in the discharge of official duties, the Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to forward a recommendation to the department for his suspension.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is rapidly advancing toward modern technology and world-class infrastructure. The selection of Haryana as the launch site for the country's first hydrogen-powered train reflects the state's leading role in innovation and development.
The train will operate between Jind and Sonipat. Powered entirely by hydrogen fuel. It will be an environmentally friendly mode of transport that will help reduce pollution while promoting sustainable and clean mobility.
A Proud Moment for Haryana
The Chief Minister said it is a matter of immense pride for Haryana that the nation's first hydrogen-powered train will run on the state's railway tracks. He described the project as a symbol of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
He also said that during his visit to Jind on July 17, the Prime Minister will dedicate several other development projects to the people of Haryana. These initiatives are expected to accelerate the state's growth and provide direct benefits to citizens.

Public Confidence in Ayurveda Grows; NIA Panchkula Sees Record Patient Footfall
NIA Panchkula Registers Record 50,000 OPD Visits in Six Months
More than 500 patients receive treatment every day at NIA Panchkula; institute offers 12 specialty OPDs and a 250-bed IPD facility
Chandigarh, July 13- The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, is steadily emerging as a trusted centre for Ayurvedic healthcare, with a sharp rise in the number of patients seeking treatment. The growing footfall in its Outpatient Department (OPD) reflects the increasing public confidence in Ayurveda. In the first six months of 2026 alone, the institute has recorded nearly 50,000 OPD visits, while more than 500 patients are availing treatment at the institute every day.
The institute treated 42,030 patients in 2024. In 2025, the number rose by nearly 50 per cent to 80,878 patients. Continuing this upward trend, almost 50,000 patients have already benefited from its healthcare services during the first half of 2026.
Patients from Haryana, Punjab, the Chandigarh Tricity region, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and several other states are visiting the National Institute of Ayurveda for treatment. The departments of Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra (Surgery), and Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology) witness the highest patient turnout. In addition, the OPDs for Agad Tantra (Toxicology), Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), and Twak Evam Saundarya (Dermatology and Cosmetology) are also attracting a large number of patients.
Operating under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the institute is providing quality healthcare services under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Sharma and Dean Prof. Gulab Chand Pamnani.
Dean In-charge Prof. Satish Gandharv said that the National Institute of Ayurveda is scaling new heights in Ayurvedic healthcare. He attributed the growing trust among patients to the availability of experienced Ayurvedic specialists along with modern diagnostic facilities. He added that the positive outcomes of Ayurvedic treatment have further strengthened public confidence in the system of medicine.

Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Dr. Gaurav Garg said that the institute focuses not only on treating diseases but also on promoting the overall well-being of patients. Along with medical treatment, the institute provides Yoga, Physiotherapy, Panchakarma, and other supportive therapies, enabling holistic healthcare.
He said that a large number of patients are seeking treatment for joint pain, spinal disorders, skin diseases, gynaecological and obstetric conditions, Panchakarma therapies, eye ailments, and ENT-related disorders. The institute also has a significant number of inpatients. According to him, crossing the 50,000-patient mark within just six months of 2026 clearly demonstrates the growing public faith in Ayurvedic treatment.

Medical Officer Dr. Mansi Grewal said that the institute operates 12 specialty OPDs, including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya (Ophthalmology), Shalakya (Oral, Nasal and Dental Diseases), Kaumarbhritya and Paediatrics, Agad Tantra (Toxicology), Twak Evam Saundarya (Dermatology and Cosmetology), Swasthavritta and Yoga, besides emergency services.
With specialists from multiple disciplines available under one roof, patients receive comprehensive and integrated care. Chandigarh July 13: Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini on Monday launched a state-wide cleanliness drive from Panchkula, with the aim of taking Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan message to every household and creating widespread public awareness about cleanliness. On the occasion, the Chief Minister personally participated in the drive and urged people to make cleanliness a mass movement.
The Chief Minister launched the campaign by sweeping the area in front of the main market in Sector-20, Panchkula. While participating in the cleanliness drive, he appealed to citizens to maintain a clean and healthy environment. He also spread awareness about the scientific and proper disposal of waste by personally collecting garbage and loading it onto a cart. As part of the programme, he also planted a sapling, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
Interacting with media persons, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that cleanliness is not the responsibility of the government alone but a collective responsibility of every citizen. He urged people to actively contribute to keeping their homes, neighbourhoods, markets, and public places clean while ensuring proper waste management.
The Chief Minister said that, inspired by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi's call for cleanliness, people across the country have embraced cleanliness as an integral part of their daily lives. He informed that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Haryana on July 17. In view of the visit, it has been decided to conduct a comprehensive cleanliness drive across Haryana from July 13 to July 17, which was launched from Panchkula on Monday.
He said Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), local public representatives, and party office-bearers would actively participate in the campaign across the state to further strengthen the vision of a clean and developed India envisioned by the Prime Minister.
