Chandigarh, May 27, 2026-The two-day Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Maha Abhiyan of Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh Pradesh’s District Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was successfully organized under the leadership of District President Rekha Sood at Morni Nature Camp, Panchkula district.
The training camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the district team, executive members, Mandal Presidents and General Secretaries, along with state-level office bearers residing in District Ambedkar, reflecting organizational unity, ideological commitment, and dedication towards nation-building.
The camp was attended by State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra, District Incharge and State General Secretary Ramveer Bhatti, State Vice President and District Incharge Bharat Kumar, Training Camp Incharge Vinod Aggarwal, State Media Incharge Ravi Rawat, Cell and Department Co-Convener Ramesh Sahod, State Secretary Meenakshi Thakur, District General Secretaries Krishankant and Rajkumar Rana, Sanjeev Kumar, former Mayor and former District President Ravikant Sharma, former District President Ravindra Pathania along with several senior office bearers and workers.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the singing of Vande Mataram, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and organizational spirit. Thereafter, BJP Chandigarh Pradesh President Jatinder Pal Malhotra formally inaugurated the training session through his opening address. He stated that BJP is not merely a political party but an ideological organization working with the spirit of “Nation First.”
A total of 13 speakers addressed the training camp on various important subjects and guided the participants. National organization’s in-charge for the Training Maha Abhiyan Dr. Devendra Mandial and Chandigarh Training Maha Abhiyan in-charge and State General Secretary Sanjeev Rana were specially present during the program.
National Vice President Saudan Singh, while speaking on “Worker Development, Organizational Responsibility and Sense of Duty,” emphasized that every BJP worker works with the nation’s interest above all else. During the concluding session, he elaborately explained the subject of “Cadre Building and Organizational Nurturing” with great depth and clarity. He said that dedicated and ideologically committed workers are the real strength of the organization.
State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra elaborated on “Political and Social Challenges before the Nation” and urged workers to strengthen public outreach and take the welfare policies of the Central Government to every section of society.
Organization General Secretary of Punjab and Chandigarh Manthri Srinivasulu spoke on “Booth Management, Mann Ki Baat and S.I.R.” and said that BJP’s greatest strength lies in its strong booth-level organization.
Former State President and current Co-Incharge of Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Tandon explained the “Working Style of BJP,” highlighting the party’s disciplined work culture and service-oriented politics.
State General Secretary Ramveer Bhatti informed the trainees about the “History and Growth of BJP,” presenting the party’s ideological journey and struggles.
Satinder Singh spoke on “Ideological Foundation, Integral Humanism, Cultural Nationalism and Five Commitments,” and termed the ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay highly relevant in present times.
Councillor Mahesh Inder Sidhu shared his views on “Municipal Corporation Working System and Upcoming Municipal Elections,” urging workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level.
IT Incharge Shivendra Mandhotra addressed the topic “Social Media and AI Technology,” explaining the growing importance of digital platforms and modern technologies.
Ram Kumar from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh spoke on “BJP’s Ideological Family” and highlighted the role of nationalist organizations and ideological coordination.
Gurpreet Singh Dhillon spoke on “Media Management” and emphasized the importance of positive communication and effective presentation.
Cell and Department Convener Shakti Prakash Devshali, while speaking on “Expansion of BJP’s Organizational Work,” said that BJP reaches every section of society through the principles of service, organization, and nationalism. He urged workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level and connect youth and every section of society with BJP’s ideology and welfare policies.
Mahendra Kumar Nirala, during the “Practical Session,” guided workers regarding grassroots organizational functioning and public outreach methods.
State Secretary Sonia Duggal spoke about the “Poor Welfare Schemes of the Modi Government” and highlighted various welfare initiatives launched for the poor, farmers, women, and youth.
District President Rekha Sood expressed gratitude to all speakers and participants and said that such training camps infuse new energy, ideological clarity, and dedication among workers while strengthening BJP at the booth level.
