Chandigarh Police arrested lady R/o # Sector- 56 Chandigarh from back side sports complex Sector-56 Chandigarh on 03-05-2026 and recovered 40 nips of Tango Santra Desi Sharab from her possession. A case FIR No. 67 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 36 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-03 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jashandeep Singh R/O T-Tower, Flat No. 504, New Chandigarh Mohali Punjab against driver of fortuner car no. CH01CH-2249 which sped away after hit to complainant’s fortuner car no. PB-29W-1300 near small chowk Sector-9 Chandigarh on 03-05-2026, victim and his friends sustained injuries got admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 68 U/S 115(2), 118(1), 351(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Krishan R/o # 1257, DMC, Chandigarh against Manoj R/o # 1257, DMC, Chandigarh who stabbed his own wife at his house on -03-05-2026, victim sustained injuries got admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh.
