Chandigarh, April 28:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today felicitated dedicated Swachhta Doots in recognition of their exemplary contribution towards cleanliness and public awareness across the city.

MC Commissioner Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, along with Special Commissioner Sh. Pradeep Kumar, IAS, Joint Commissioners Dr. Himanshu Gupta and Dr. Inder Jeet and Sh. Balbir Raj Singh, Chief Engineer Sh. Sanjay Arora, Medical Officer Health Dr. Inderdeep Kaur, and other senior officials, honoured active citizens for their outstanding role in promoting hygiene and community participation.

Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the following individuals, recognizing them as “Swachhata Doers” for their consistent efforts:

Their efforts have significantly strengthened public participation and supported the Corporation’s mission of creating a cleaner and healthier Chandigarh. The MC lauded their dedication and emphasized that community-driven initiatives are vital for achieving sustainable cleanliness goals.

The Corporation further informed that more citizen-centric cleanliness drives will be organized in collaboration with these ambassadors to enhance public engagement.
