Chandigarh, March 22 — Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij today lauded and saluted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, stating that India has succeeded in ensuring the safe passage of ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
While speaking to the media, Sh.Vij said that some ships have already safely passed through the route, while efforts are continuously underway to bring out the remaining vessels. He termed this a significant achievement.
He further said that hundreds of ships from several countries are stranded near the Strait of Hormuz and are unable to move, but ships carrying the Indian tricolour are being allowed to pass. According to him, this is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effective foreign policy.
Notably, Sh.Vij also took to the social media platform ‘X’ to praise the Prime Minister’s foreign policy. He wrote, “Salute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy. Amid the Middle East war, several oil and gas vessels stranded in the ‘oil lifeline’ Strait of Hormuz have been freed, and efforts are continuously being made to rescue the remaining 22 ships.”
