CHANDIGARH, 02.03.26-The Aesthesia Club of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, organized an educational field visit to the Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities, Sector 31, Chandigarh. The visit was designed to provide students with practical exposure to intellectual disabilities, intervention strategies and inclusive care practices. It enabled participants to closely observe therapeutic techniques, institutional support systems and the dedicated efforts of professionals engaged in rehabilitation services.

During the visit, students interacted with faculty and staff members of the institute and gained valuable insights into assessment procedures, individualized training programs and comprehensive support services offered to individuals with intellectual disabilities. More than 50 students actively participated in the visit, making it a meaningful, insightful, and enriching learning experience.

Principal, Dr. Ajay Sharma extended his full support to the initiative and appreciated the club’s efforts in promoting experiential learning and social sensitivity among students.

The visit was organized under the guidance of Dr. Tarundeep Kaur, Incharge, Aesthesia Club, and was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Nidhi Chadha and Ms. Pratima Sharma.
