Mohali, Feb 23-Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, organized an international conference on “Accelerating Research Translation & AI-Driven Innovation Ecosystems aligned to Viksit Bharat Vision” at the Aryans Campus.

The conference was presided over by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges. Students from Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical, Physiotherapy, MBA, BBA and BCA streams actively participated and interacted with the international experts.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between Aryans Group of Colleges and Futred Innovation Studios to promote research collaboration, innovation and industry–academia partnerships.

Among the key speakers were Russell Merz, Founder, Brisbane Strategy Ventures, Australia; Michael Clements, Emeritus Professor, College of Practice Professors, Australia; Manish Malhotra, Futred Innovation Studios; along with noted academician Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna.

Russell Merz emphasized that higher education institutions must integrate research with industry requirements, promote entrepreneurship and encourage interdisciplinary learning to develop industry-ready graduates.

Michael Clements highlighted the importance of experiential and practice-based learning supported by AI tools, stating that outcome-based education and real-world exposure are essential to enhance employability and innovation capabilities among students.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, while addressing the gathering, said that India is steadily moving towards becoming a global knowledge hub and educational institutions must focus on innovation, research commercialization, skill development and industry collaborations to prepare youth for future challenges. He also highlighted the initiatives of Aryans Group in promoting entrepreneurship, practical learning and holistic student development aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The conference concluded with an engaging interactive session where students discussed emerging technologies, career opportunities, and future education pathways with the international experts.
