MAHENDERGARH, 21.01.26-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, has commenced the admission process for its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes for the January–February 2026 academic session. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor launched the admission portal for three distance mode programmes—M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, M.A. in Hindi, and M.Com. Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor and Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar were also present on the occasion.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the introduction of these programmes will expand access to higher education through flexible learning opportunities, particularly benefiting students from southern Haryana and adjoining regions of Rajasthan. The programmes have been designed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and follow a semester-based system.
Prof. Singara Singh, Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education informed that the self-learning material for all programmes has been developed by CUH faculty members and experts from other reputed institutions. He added that the programmes follow the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), are industry-oriented, equivalent to regular degrees, and include fee concessions for SC/ST students.
