Chandigarh, 8th December 2025 : Dr. Sunil Kumar, Principal of DAV Senior Secondary School (Lahore), Sector 8, Chandigarh, expressed condolences on behalf of his school on the sad demise of Swaraj Kaushal who has been a senior advocate of Supreme Court, former Governor of Mizoram and former Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana.

Dr. Sunil Kumar said that Swaraj Kaushal, after completing his schooling from DAV (Lahore), carved a distinct identity for himself not only in our country but across the world. Despite being the husband of former External Affairs Minister of India, Late Sushma Swaraj and holding various top positions himself, Swaraj Kaushal lived a simple and austere life, which is an inspiration for the society in current times. He described the passing of Swaraj Kaushal as an irreparable loss to the DAV (Lahore) family. He also expressed his deepest condolences to the late Governor's family and admirers.
