Two persons arrested in Consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Ramesh R/o # 135 Village Hallomajra Chandigarh from MW Market Ph-1 Industrial Area on 30-11-2025, while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No 110 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Madan Lal S/O Naresh Kumar R/o # 1034 Deep Complex Hallomajra from near Hotel Star Plus, Daria Chandigarh on 30-11-2025 while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No 111 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in NDPS Act.

Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested one lady R/o jhandewali gali no 1 kot khalsa Distt Amritsar Punjab from near bus stand Sector 43 Chandigarh on 30 11-2025 and recovered 151.85 gram heroin from her possession. A Case FIR No. 249 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No.146 U/S 281, 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Nitin Kumar R/o # 3444, Sector -15 Chandigarh against driver of electric scooter boy age- 16 year Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s father’s bishan lal R/o # 3444, Sector-15/D driver of scooty pep No. CH 04R-5621 on Dadu Majra Colony road on 20-11-2025, victim sustained injuries got admitted to PGI during the treatment injured person expired. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body

A Case FIR No. 147 U/S 94 BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Gursewak Singh R/o # 31, Dadu Majra Colony Chandigarh against unknown person who throw a dead body of an infant at dumping ground dadu majra, which was found on 30-11-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 95 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police station Sarangpur Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o #, Small Flats Dhanas, Candigarh against ladies all beaten compliant and threaten her also near her house on 30-11-2025.
