Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal @ Mota R/o # 1471/1 Deep Complex Hallomajra Chandigarh from Hallomajra park Chandigarh on 25.11.2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 228 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested M.D Faruq R/o # 128 Budanpur Panchkula, Haryana Chandigarh from near Baba Balak nath Mandir Village Daria Chandigarh on 25.11.2025 while drinking and creating nuisance at a public place. A Case FIR No 108 U/S 68(1) B PP Act 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Gaurav Verma R/o # 2984 Sector 39 Chandigarh from parking area market Sector 36/D Chandigarh on 25.11.2025 while drinking and creating nuisance at a public place. A Case FIR No 242 U/S 68(1) B PP Act 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case Fir no 240 U/S 281, 106 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Shiva R/o # 516 Maloya Colony Chandigarh against unknown driver of car who sped away after hit to pedestrian namely Shiv Kumar Sood R/o # 3139 Sector 23/D Chandigarh near dividing road 23/36 on 25.11.2025. Victim sustained injuries lifted to GH-16 Chandigarh where duty doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 241 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Sector 115 Kharar Mohali Punjab against unknown person stole away her purse containing some documents, Apple Earphone, Silver Bangle, Cash Rs. 5000/- from her car after broken the window glass which was parked on slip road outside Kisan Bhawan Sector 35 Chandigarh on 23.11.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
