MAHENDERGARH, 25.11.25-The Department of History and Archaeology at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, organised the Second Meet the Author Event and Discussion on Tuesday on the Book: “Indus Waters Treaty: Mirroring the Facts written by Shri Sant Kumar Sharma, who is an esteemed journalist, writer and columnist. He was the keynote speaker for this event. The issue of Indus Waters Treaty, its history and current geographical, political and geo-strategic significance were discussed at length.
Shri Sant Kumar said that the treaty needs to be modified in favour of India as in its present form the treaty is heavily in favour of Pakistan. On this occasion Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CUH also highlighted the significance of this treaty.
Dr. Narendra Parmar, Head of Department welcomed the chief guest. Prof. Tirthraj Bhoi, Dr. Kulbhushan Mishra, Dr. KC Gurjar, Mr. Rakesh Meena, Rashmi Tanwar, Dr. Aleka, Dr. Surender and other faculty member participated in the event. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. KR Palsaniya. Dr. Abhiranjan Kumar convened the event. Mr Ravi, a Ph.D. scholar managed the stage and Ms. Shraddha introduced the chief guest. Research scholars and students from different department participated in this interactive event.
