In his letter to the Chief Minister, Sh. Vij wrote:-“The 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji holds immense religious, historical, and social significance. Considering the sentiments of millions of devotees, November 25, 2025 should be declared a Gazetted Holiday.” Although the state government has already declared November 25 as a “restricted holiday,” Energy Minister emphasized that this particular 350th anniversary year carries special importance for devotees. Therefore, the day should be declared a full public (Gazetted) holiday.
