CM offers prayers with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at Palampur

AOL keen to establish Osteopathy College in HP: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today offered prayers at the Panjpiri Sheetla Mata Temple at Gujrehda, near Palampur in district Kangra, along with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of Art of Living (AOL). He also lit a ceremonial lamp in the newly constructed temple and received blessings from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Praising Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Chief Minister stated that the spiritual Guru has been tirelessly working across the world to promote peace, tolerance, and human values in the society adding that he is a humanitarian leader, spiritual teacher, and an ambassador of peace. The vision of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of creating a stress-free, violence-free society has united millions of people around the Globe through services and programs offered by his foundation. His thoughts and teachings have provided new inspiration to the younger generation. “It is a matter of pride for Himachal Pradesh that he has established the ‘Kailash Ashram’ in the lap of the Dhauladhar ranges, where disciples from around the globe will revitalize themselves with renewed energy,” said the Chief Minister.

Sh. Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh was known as ‘Devbhoomi’ as it was home to countless deities. To promote tourism in the State, the Government is expanding the Kangra Airport to facilitate the people. He announced that the Gujrehda link road would be paved to ensure that followers of the Art of Living do not face any inconvenience while visiting the area.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, while appreciating the Chief Minister, said that being religious in his beliefs and actions, Sh. Sukhu has been blessed with an opportunity to serve the people of Himachal, popularly known as ‘Devbhoomi’. He highlighted that the grand Panjpiri Sheetla Mata Temple has been constructed directly facing the Aadi Himani Chamunda Temple and emphasized the importance of spiritual practice in one’s life. He added that the deities are not distant—they dwell within each of us.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also wished to establish an Osteopathy College in Himachal Pradesh, so that local youth may learn this modern system of treatment for sustainable livelihoods. He added that society must move forward by embracing both the new and the traditional.

मुख्यमंत्री 19 नवम्बर को दून विधानसभा क्षेत्र के प्रवास पर

SOLAN, 18.11.25-मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू 19 नवम्बर, 2025 को सोलन ज़िला के दून विधानसभा क्षेत्र के प्रवास पर आ रहे हैं।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू 19 नवम्बर, 2025 को प्रातः 11.15 बजे सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र बरोटीवाला के नवनिर्मित भवन का लोकार्पण करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री तदोपरांत प्रातः 11.45 बजे नागरिक अस्पताल बद्दी के नवनिर्मित भवन का लोकार्पण करेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू दोपहर 01.10 बजे रमा उद्योग, वर्षा शालिका के समीप बद्दी बाज़ार में दून विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए विभिन्न लोकार्पण एवं शिलान्यास करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री बद्दी शहर के शेष बचे हुए क्षेत्रों के लिए सीवरेज पाईप लाइन की आधारशिला रखेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू दून क्षेत्र के ग्राम चक्कां तथा अप्पर बटेड़ (सत्तीवाला) के लिए 20 टयूबवेल जनता को समर्पित करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री बद्दी के कल्याणपुर में निर्मित होने वाले राजीव गांधी डे बोर्डिंग विद्यालय की आधारशिला भी रखेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू शिक्षा खण्ड बद्दी की स्तरोन्नत राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला हरिपुर संडोली-2 वास खबड़ियां, राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला सूरज माजरा लबाणा और राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला चक्कां का लोकार्पण करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री मिनी सचिवालय बद्दी की आधारशिला भी रखेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू बद्दी-शीतलपुर-जगातखाना सड़क का शिलान्यास भी करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री तदोपरांत विश्व बैंक द्वारा वित्त पोषित नवनिर्मित बद्दी-साईं-रामशहर सड़क को विधिवत रूप से लोगों को समर्पित करेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू नाबार्ड के तहत बारघाट-कथलोह-गुनाईं मार्ग की आधारशिला रखेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री 24X7 गुणात्मक एवं विश्वसनीय ऊर्जा आपूर्ति योजना का शिलान्यास भी करेंगे।
सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू दिन में 1.45 बजे पुरानी सब्जी मण्डी, हनुमान चौक बद्दी में एक विशाल जनसभा को सम्बोधित करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री तदोपरांत सांय 03.05 बजे शीतलपुर में प्रस्तावित सैटेलाइट शहर के लिए चिन्हित स्थान का दौरा करेंगे। वह सांय 03.45 बजे मानकपुर का दौरा भी करेंगे।
