Chandigarh, August 20:-In a meeting held today at the Municipal Corporation, elected and nominated councillors congratulated Mayor Smt. Harpreet Kaur Babla for her proactive leadership in securing crucial financial support and steering Chandigarh’s development agenda forward. The councillors also convened a meeting to review ongoing and upcoming civic projects across the city.

During the discussion, councillors appreciated the Mayor’s dedicated efforts in strengthening the Municipal Corporation’s finances and ensuring timely progress on various works. They expressed confidence that under her guidance, Chandigarh will witness accelerated development in core areas such as sanitation, water supply, waste management, road maintenance, street lighting, and the development of parks and community facilities.

Councillors also shared detailed updates from their respective wards, highlighting key issues and requirements. The Mayor assured them that all concerns raised would be taken up on priority and directed officials to prepare a ward-wise action plan for smooth and timely implementation of projects.
