One arrested in NDPS Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vinod Kumar @ Setting R/o # 1999 PH-2 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh (age – 31) yrs from Guga Mari Mandir, 3 BRD Airport Hallomajra, Chandigarh On 25-05-2025 and recovered 08 injection of Burenorphine hydrochloride injection I.P, 1 ml each and 8 injection of pheniramine maleate injection I.P, 2 M.L each and 2.35 gram heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 100 U/S 21 & 22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Assault

A Case FIR No. 67 U/S 324(6), 333, 62, 351(2), 351(3), 3(5) bns has been registered in Police Station Sector- 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector- 56 Chandigarh against Vinod and Vijay R/o Sector- 56 Chandigarh. They quarreled with complainant’s husband and her brother, threatened and pelted stolen on her house on 25-05-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No. 68 U/S 281, 160 (1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector- 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of one girl R/o # Sectort-39-D Chandigarh against Scorpio Car Driver No. PB-65BK-2662 Namely Amandeep Singh R/o # 603, Tower-1, Welington Heights, TDI City, Sector -117, Mohali Punjab who hit to complainant’s sister Neha riding an active No. CH-01BT-3442 near community Centre Sector-40 Chandigarh on 10-05-2025, victim sustained injuries and Expired during treatment in GMCH-32 on 22-05-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Robbery

A Case FIR No. 62 U/S 309(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector- 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of S. S. Bajwa R/o # 1546, Sector-22B Chandigarh against Unknown Person who Robbed Rs 70,000/- cash and some documents from Complainant sister-in-law Harpreet Walia from her residence # 1546, Sector-22 Chandigarh on 24-05.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
