Chandigarh 30th October -The Chandigarh Traders Association (Regd.), Sector 17, Chandigarh, led by its President, Sh. Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, and Senior Vice President, Sh. Mandeep Singh, met Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, and submitted a representation seeking the deployment of a Mini Fire Tender and Mini Ambulance near the Police Chowki, Sector 17 Plaza, throughout the Diwali festive season.
The Governor gave the delegation a patient hearing, appreciated the concern raised and assured that he would speak to the Municipal Commissioner and Director, Health Services, Chandigarh, regarding the request. The association expressed confidence that these preventive arrangements would help ensure the safety of traders, shoppers and visitors during the festive season.
