Chandigarh, September 7: On the sacred occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, Paramjit Singh Kainth, State Vice-President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Scheduled Caste Morcha, along with a delegation comprising Guru Ravidas Sewa Society Nabha President Ram Singh and General Secretary Amar Singh, met Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini and formally invited him to attend the grand religious and social celebration as the Chief Guest.

During the meeting, Kainth apprised the Chief Minister of the preparations underway and shared the broad programme outline for the historic occasion. He said that the 650th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji would be commemorated with deep devotion, reverence and grandeur. The celebration will place special emphasis on spreading Guru Ji’s profound teachings and his timeless message of humanity, equality, social harmony and brotherhood among the people.

Kainth said that the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji transcend the boundaries of any particular community or section of society and provide the entire humanity with a path based on equality, social justice, fraternity and human dignity. He said that Guru Ji’s teachings continue to inspire society to firmly oppose caste-based discrimination, social inequality and injustice, while working towards the creation of an egalitarian society.

He further observed that the message of Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji holds even greater relevance in the present era and can play a significant role in strengthening social harmony, mutual respect, brotherhood and national unity.

Those present on the occasion included Ram Singh, Amar Singh, Ramdhan Singh, Mohinder Singh Cheema, Rajesh Sharma, Gurmukh Singh, Guru Bachan Singh, Ravinder Singh, Dalvir Singh, Satinderpal Singh, Ranjit Rana and Balwinder Singh, along with other representatives.

Paramjit Singh Kainth expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for granting the delegation an opportunity to meet with him and for giving serious consideration to the issues and views presented by the delegation. He expressed confidence that the Chief Minister’s guidance and support would contribute significantly to making this important religious and social celebration more meaningful, impactful and рд╡реНрдпрд╛рдкрдХ in scope.

The celebration is being organized through the joint efforts of Guru Ravidas Sewa Society Nabha and Paramjit Singh Kainth, State Vice-President of the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha.
