Chandigarh police arrested Karan @ Mota R/o # 1116, NIC, Manimajra Chandigarh from back side Airtel Building It Park Chandigarh on 18.08.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 74 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh police arrested Yash Godwal R/o # 1706 2^nd floor Village Burail Sector 45 Chandigarh from mandi ground Sector 45 Chandigarh on 18.08.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 127 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Causing hurt by means of poison/Theft

A Case FIR No 107 U/S 123, 306, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jatesh Bassi R/o # 3097, Sector -28D Chandigarh against Hemant Thap (Cook) and one unknown person they stole way diamond jewellery, gold jewellery, watches and 11 lakh from complainant house on 14.08.2026 giving intoxicated substance mixed food to house owners. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No 93 U/S 316(2) BNS has been registered in police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Nikesh R/o # 721, Sector 8 Chandigarh against Navjot Singh Sidhu R/o # 228 Sector 36 Chandigarh who taken 3,90,000/- from complainant by fraud and not paid 3 months’ salary to complainant. Investigation of this case is in progress.
