Chandigarh, August 2:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh successfully organised the live telecast of the launch of the "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan", addressed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi, at Community Centres across the city today.
A large number of residents, including youth, students, senior citizens, Resident Welfare Association (RWA) members, Market Welfare Association (MWA) representatives, and community leaders, gathered at various Community Centres to witness the Prime Minister's address on LED screens installed by MC Chandigarh.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, reflecting Chandigarh's collective commitment towards building a drug-free and developed India. During his address, the Hon'ble Prime Minister called upon the youth and every citizen to actively participate in the nationwide movement against drug abuse and contribute towards the vision of Nasha Mukt Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh had made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the live telecast and coordinated with RWAs, MWAs and other stakeholders to ensure maximum public participation. The event was also widely promoted through the Corporation's official social media platforms.
MC Chandigarh expressed gratitude to all residents, educational institutions, community organisations and volunteers who participated in the programme and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting awareness campaigns aimed at promoting a healthy, drug-free and socially responsible society.
