Two persons arrested in Arms Act.
Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep Kumar R/o # 336/D, Gali No. 10 Vill-Daria, Chandigarh from parking area cremation ground daria, Chandigarh on dated 05-07-2026 and recovered button-operated spring loaded knife from his possession. A case FIR No. 63 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in the Police Station Industrial area Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Rajiv Atwal R/o Plot No. 106/A, Darpan City Kharar, Mohali, Punjab from near plot no. 814, I/area, Ph-2, Chandigarh on dated 05-07-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A case FIR No.106 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
