Chandigarh: 22nd April, 2026: The Speakers’ Association and Study Circle (SAASC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh successfully hosted the 13th edition of PECMUN on April 18–19, 2026, under the guidance of the Dean Student Affairs Dr. D.R. Prajapati.
The inaugural ceremony featured Ms. Amandeep Kaur, who highlighted the relevance of the United Nations and youth responsibility in global peacebuilding. Over 150 participants from reputed institutions engaged in committees like UNHRC, UNSC, and UNGA, deliberating on pressing global issues. Sponsored by LIC India and others, the conference concluded with awards and reaffirmed the significance of dialogue and diplomacy.
