CHANDIGARH, 22.02.26-The Environment Society of India, in association with the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, organised a vibrant kite flying show at the 54th Rose Festival in Sector 16, Chandigarh. Enthusiastic participation from Tricity, Punjab, and Haryana marked the event.
A special team from Ahmedabad, led by Mehul Pathak, showcased artistic kites. Councillor Hardeep Singh Butrela inaugurated the programme and distributed free kites. Mr. N. K. Jhingan thanked the authorities for reviving the tradition. Certificates and mementoes were awarded, celebrating community spirit, culture, and environmental awareness.
