St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School conducted an enriching Training Session on ‘Theory of Knowledge’ on 24th January, offering educators an intellectually stimulating and reflective learning experience. The programme was thoughtfully designed to deepen teachers’ understanding of how knowledge is perceived, constructed, and meaningfully applied in education.

The session was led by Ms. Kulwant Kaur Regal, an experienced education freelancer, and Dr. Neeru Agora, Principal of Gobindgarh Public School. The distinguished resource persons guided participants through a series of interactive discussions, experiential activities, and collaborative tasks, enabling teachers to explore the nature of knowledge and its application in classroom practices.

Discussions on learning outcomes led to their refinement and upgradation, aligning them with inquiry-based and reflective pedagogy. The inclusion of self-reflective questionnaires prompted introspection, enabling participants to thoughtfully examine their beliefs, practices, and approach to knowledge. The atmosphere throughout the session remained vibrant, collaborative, and inspiring.

The Principal, Mrs. Monica Chawla, expressed that such programmes play a significant role in nurturing reflective educators who inspire thoughtful learners. She shared that Theory of Knowledge strengthens curiosity, critical thinking, and depth of understanding, reaffirming the school’s commitment to holistic education and continuous professional growth.
