Two arrested in Robbery case
A case FIR No. 13 u/s 309(6), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station IT Park on the complaint of Arsal Ansari R/o Manimajra, Chandigarh, aged 19 years, alleging that three unknown boys robbed him of his mobile phone and purse near Shastri Nagar light point on 22-01-2026 at about 9:30 pm and fled from the spot. During investigation, two persons have been arrested in this case i.e Aakash driver auto r/ o 133 Bdc sector 26 and Vijay R/o village gurunanak baltana Zirakpur P. , Investigation of this case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 13 u/s 281, 106(1) BNS has been registered at Police Station Industrial Area, on the complaint of Manoj Kumar R/o RBI Colony, Sector-30B, Chandigarh, aged 41 years, alleging that the driver of an unknown car hit a pedestrian near Beat Box, Sector-30, on 23-01-2026 at about 8:50 pm and fled from the spot. The injured was taken to Max Hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead. Investigation is in progress.
