December 16, 2025:State Bank of India (SBI), Chandigarh Circle, today inaugurated the Inter Circle Kho-Kho Tournament 2025, marking the beginning of four days of competitive sporting action and camaraderie among SBI employees. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Manmeet S. Chhabra, General Manager (Network 1), Dr Mahinder Singh, Joint Director of Sports, Chandigarh Administration along with other senior dignitaries from SBI and representatives of various SBI associations.

A total of 28 teams from different SBI circles, including men’s and women’s teams, are participating in the tournament, showcasing the Bank’s strong commitment to promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among its workforce. The tournament will be conducted over four days, from December 16 to December 19, 2025, featuring league and knockout matches that promise high energy and competitive spirit.

Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of sports in fostering discipline, unity, and a healthy work-life balance among employees, while also encouraging participants to uphold the true spirit of the game. The Inter Circle Kho-Kho Tournament 2025 is another step by SBI towards nurturing talent and strengthening inter-circle bonding through sports.
