CHANDIGARH, 14 August 2025:Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Renu Vig today inaugurated its Online Complaint Management System for the Construction Office, which is aimed at streamlining grievance redressal for residents, departments, hostels, and other campus units. The system will enable the users to file complaints conveniently while ensuring quicker resolution, and enhancing transparency in maintenance operations.

PU VC Prof Renu Vig said that adoption of such technology will improve work culture and speed up complaint resolution, benefiting all stakeholders on campus.
She commended the Construction Office for designing the platform, and congratulated the entire implementation team. She further lauded the Maintenance Division of the Construction Office for its proactive approach in addressing the concerns of residents, hostels, and departments, and for embracing digital solutions to enhance service delivery.

Er. Anil Thakur, Executive Engineer-II; engineers of the University; and representatives of the Panjab University Teachers’ Association (PUTA) were also present on the occasion.

PUTA President Prof. Amarjit Naura also congratulated the Maintenance Division for introducing the system, noting that it marks an important step towards efficient campus infrastructure management.
