Chandigarh, 17 January 2024: Reliance Jio, the world's largest private mobile data network, has expanded its JioAirFiber services to all 23 districts of Punjab. Initially launched in the Chandigarh tricity in November 2023, this expansion marks a significant enhancement to the digital landscape in Punjab.
As JioAirFiber services go live across all major cities of Punjab including Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Bathinda etc, it will overcome the challenges of last-mile connectivity and connect every home and small business, which earlier didn’t have the access to quality home broadband, due to the complexities and delays involved in extending optical-fiber to their premises.
