Chandigarh,10.05.23-Tarini Mirdha made a mark at the 3rd All India Brahmaputra Squash Open in Guwahati by winning the Girls Under 11 title. She defeated Prachi Kalita of Assam ( 11-1, 11-1, 11-1) in the quarter final to step into the semi final. She then won against Prerna Kanoi Of West Bengal ( 11-4, 11-2, 11-2) in the semis. In the final, she defeated Yashika Vinothkumar of Tamil Nadu ( 11-3, 11-3, 11-3 ) to claim the first position.

Tarini finished second in the Southern Slam Squash Championship which was held in Chennai. This tournament is an important part of the Asian circuit tournament with international players participating in it. Tarini entered the semi final by defeating Sanaita Singh of Delhi ( 6-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-7) in the quarters. In the semis, she faced Hana Reia Haridharan from Malaysia. She defeated her 11-9, 11-7, 11-5. In the final, she went down against Deepa Debiram of Tamil Nadu 11-2, 11-5, 11-7 to settle for silver.

Tarini won the silver medal in the 2nd IIT Gandhinagar Squash Open. She entered the quarter final by defeating Muskan Rathore from Maharashtra 11-0, 11-3. In the Quarters she won against Devki Anand from Maharashtra 11-4, 11-2. In the final she lost against Divyanshi jain from Rajasthan 11-6, 11-9, 14-12
