CHANDIGARH,20.03.23-Recognising the importance of happiness as a universal goal in the lives of people, NGO Tammana celebrated the International Day of Happiness on March 19, 2023, at 4.30 pm, at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.
Keeping in mind this year's global theme for International Day of Happiness "Make it a point to be social", NGO Tammana aimed to spread awareness about the relevance of good 'Mental health' which includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being, shared the Founder President Isha Kakaria.
The Event SPOC Harpreet Saini shared that to educate everyone about the importance of mental well-being, Team Tammana together walked at the Sukhna Lake, carrying out public awareness-raising activities. To spread awareness, members held placards on mental health topics like positivity, mental well-being, stress, work-life balance, the relevance of exercise and more.
Mental health affects how people think, feel, and act and helps in determining how they handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Therefore the team members offered Free Talks and Free hugs, shared the General Secretary Jaskaran Singh.
A lot of people including teens, and middle-aged people voluntarily came to talk about their personal and professional issues and relieved some stress by speaking up and sharing hugs, told the Public Relation Executive Anubha Ohri. Additionally, the team members distributed roses to spread happiness.
