MAHENDERGARH, 07.05.26-Eight students from the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), have secured placements in the reputed company Signature Global Ltd. The selected students have been offered an annual package of ₹6 lakh. This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to quality and industry-oriented education.
Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar congratulated the selected students and stated that the university’s modern and industry-oriented curriculum, designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), is enabling students to develop professional competence and employability skills. He added that the dedication and hard work of students, along with practical training opportunities, have played a significant role in this success.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma appreciated the efforts of the department and remarked that the six-month internship program has played a vital role in shaping students’ careers. He noted that such practical exposure provides students with valuable industry experience and prepares them effectively for professional challenges.
Dean, School of Engineering & Technology, Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Garg informed that the selected students performed exceptionally well during the interview process. He highlighted that most of the selected students belong to rural backgrounds and economically weaker families. In such circumstances, these placements will not only ensure a brighter future for the students but will also contribute significantly to the socio-economic upliftment of their families. He further stated that this achievement would serve as an inspiration for other students.
The selected students include Shivam Kumar, Neha Patel, Neeraj, Ankit Fageria, Ankit, Shreshth Singh, Vishnu, and Varnika. Prof. Garg further informed that another eight students of the department are currently undergoing paid training in the same company. Impressed by the students’ performance and dedication during the training period, Signature Global Ltd. selected these students for placement opportunities. The selected students secured employment after successfully clearing the written examination and continuous interview process conducted by the company. The university administration and faculty members expressed confidence that the remaining trainees would also secure placements in the near future.
Meanwhile, officials from Signature Global Ltd., including Mr. Rohan Chopra (CHRO), Mr. Ujjwal Gupta (DGM), and Ms. Kavita Adhikari (AGM), appreciated the performance, knowledge, and skills of CUH students during the selection process. They also expressed interest in strengthening future collaboration with the university through internships and placement opportunities.
The Registrar of the University, Head of the Department Dr. Bhaskar Das, and Director of the Placement Cell Dr. Divya also congratulated the students and appreciated the department’s continuous efforts towards industry interaction and placements.
