CHANDIGARH -The two-day annual cultural festival Virasat-26 at Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma (SD) College, Sector 32, concluded on Friday with vibrant performances and enthusiastic participation from students and artists.
Organised by the college administration in collaboration with the Student Council, the festival celebrated tradition, talent, and cultural diversity. The event featured a wide array of activities, including fashion shows, modelling competitions, dance performances, and cultural presentations reflecting the rich heritage of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.
Students showcased their creativity and energy through a series of engaging performances, making the festival lively and memorable. The fashion show and modelling segments emerged as major crowd-pullers, drawing loud applause from the audience.

The concluding day also witnessed electrifying musical performances by popular Haryanvi singer Shiva Chaudhary and Punjabi artist Gippy Grewal, whose acts added to the festive spirit and brought the event to a grand close.
Ajay Sharma, Principal of the college, said, the annual festival once again highlighted College’s commitment to fostering holistic development by encouraging students to explore and celebrate cultural diversity alongside academics, he said.
