Chandigarh, 04 December 2025: The school commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 03 December 2025 with a heartfelt and inclusive celebration, reflecting its commitment to respect, equality, and opportunities for all learners.
The day began with a special morning assembly. The school choir, featuring students from the Special Cell, presented a soulful performance, symbolising unity, collaboration, and the belief that every voice matters. This was followed by the school pledge administered by Anshul Mishra from the Special Cell. An informative talk on the importance of accessibility, empathy, and the global efforts to create inclusive spaces for persons with disabilities was also delivered.
A 16-over inclusive cricket match, with teams comprising students from both mainstream classes and the Special Cell, infused the day with energy and enthusiasm. The match began with a toss conducted by the Vice Principal, Ms Suparna Bansal. It celebrated teamwork and sportsmanship, reinforcing the message of harmony and mutual respect. In her address, Ms Bansal emphasised the importance of recognising every child’s abilities and stated that true inclusion begins with respecting each student’s strengths.
