CHANDIGARH,26 November 2023: The four-day conference of Principals of Bhavan’s Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools, themed- Navigating Change-Empowering Educated Visionaries, concluded on a high note at Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh. The conference was inaugurated on 23 November, by the Chief Guest, Honourable Governor Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, and was attended by 70 Principals and eminent leaders from the field of education and industry. The event witnessed engrossing sessions and highly productive group discussions on a wide range of topics ranging from Data Driven Growth; Generative power of Artificial Intelligence to Future of Leadership.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Rakesh Saxena, Director, Bhavan Shikshan Bharti, Shri Madhukar Malhotra, Honorary Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra, Dr. Anil Sharma, and other distinguished dignitaries.

The culminating day began with a mellifluous prayer which was then followed by a session of feedback reports on group discussions fostering diverse ideas and collaborative problems- solving perspectives.

The closing ceremony commenced with a mesmerising performance by the school orchestra, followed by a Sufi dance infused with divinity. Next, a rhythmic Nati dance, followed by foot-tapping Bhangra, reflecting the rich cultures of Himachal and Punjab, enthralled the audience. The highlight of the day’s cultural segment was a heart-warming song ‘Hamein To Saath Chalna Hai’ by the students of Bhavan’s Special Cell.

In his address, Mr. Rakesh Saxena , Director, Shikshan Bharti, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, congratulated Ms. Vineeta Arora, Director cum Senior Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, for successfully conducting the conference at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh for the second time. He added that the conference provided an excellent platform for the Principals to collaborate and emerge with practically-effective solutions for a reoriented approach towards education. The delegates were felicitated by Shri Madhukar Malhotra. The session concluded with an expression of gratitude by Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya , New Chandigarh.
