*प्राचीन कला केन्द्र द्वारा गर्मियों की छुट्टियों को उपयोगी बनाने के लिए आयोजित की जा रही 25 दिवस की कार्यशाला का आज यहां समापन हो गया । केन्द्र के एम.एल.कौसर सभागार में इसका आयोजन 6ः30 बजे से किया गया । इस कार्यशाला का निर्देशन सुश्री ज्योति द्वारा किया गया । जो कि एक उभरती हुई थियेटर कलाकार है । बचपन से ही थियेटर में रूचि रखने वाली ज्योति ने थियेटर अलंकार से इस कला को सीखा और विकसित किया ।

*Dr. Abha Sudarshan, Principal, welcomed the students and encouraged them to be responsible citizens. She shared valuable ideas regarding the education system and its effectiveness in order to face the day to day challenges. She asked the students to make the optimum use of available resources. She wished them a stress free, healthy, knowledgeable and a successful stay in the college.

*The main highlight of the event was the Bhajan and Kathak’s jugalbandi by the two renowned artists, Bhajan Samrat Sh. Anup Jalota and Kathak legend Smt. Geetanjali Lal.

* The patriotic fervour at the LPU campus marked nationwide ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations * Magnificent cultural & band performances were also presented by FTR HQ BSF Pb (Jal) team members and LPU students * BSF personnel’s passionate dance on “Teri Mitti ch Mil Jaavaan”, “musical yoga” and multi-coloured “Dandia” dance by LPU students were much applauded

*The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar says that all the departments of the University's School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences are available with opportunities for employment and research for the students.

*प्राचीन कला केन्द्र की 272वीं मासिक बैठक का आयोजन प्राचीन कला केन्द्र द्वारा आज सायं 6रू30 बजे केन्द्र के एम.एल.कौसर सभागार में एक विशेष नृत्य संध्या का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम द्वारा पंडित बिरजू महाराज परम्परा ने समरांजलि के माध्यम से पंडित बिरजू महाराज को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की ।

*Today Aryans Group of colleges arranged educational trip for their Pharmacy students in North India’s largest Pharma and Lab Tech Expo at Sector 17, Chandigarh. Aryans students of B. Pharma & D Pharma with Dr. Krishan Kumar, Principal & Mrs Kalindi Madaan HoD visited over 200 Pharmaceutical company’s stalls & learnt latest trend and technologies in the pharmaceuticals, drugs and formulations.

*चंडीगढ़ में चल रहे हुनर हाट में "आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव" मनाने के क्रम में एक ख़ास पैवेलियन बनाया गया है जिसमें आज़ादी के महान नायकों की कहानियां शामिल हैं। "हिस्ट्री एंड हीरोज़" टैग लाइन के साथ बनाए गए पैवेलियन में आज़ादी की लड़ाई में महवपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने और शहादत देने वाले भारत माँ के वीर सपूतों से जुड़ी जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई गई है।

*Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded the initiatives of MCM IIC directed towards creation of an ecosystem that supports culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students.

*थिएटर आर्ट्स चंडीगढ़ के कलाकारों ने प्राचीन कला केंद्र के सहयोग से आज 27 अगस्त 2021 को टैगोर थिएटर चंडीगढ़ में अपनी विश्व प्रसिद्ध लाइट साइट और साउंड प्ले श्री कृष्ण लीला का सफलतापूर्वक मंचन किया। जय प्रकाश भट्ट द्वारा लिखित और राजीव मेहता द्वारा निर्देशित नाटक में भगवन श्री कृष्ण की खूबसूरत लीलाओं को दर्शाया गया।

*नारी जागृति महिला मंडल मलकाना एवं महिला मण्डल मलाहड़ भी पीछे नहीं

The event was attended by dignitaries and reputed journalists and eminent artists like such as Pt Chetan Joshi (flutist), Ustad Asghar Hussain (Violinist), Sh Ajay Jha (Mohan Veena), Sh Subrata De (Sitarist), Sh Debasish Adhikary (Tabla) and numerous others including the Registrar of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Guru Dr. Shobha Koser (SNA Awardee Kathak Maestro). Sh Sajal Koser concluded the evening with a heartfelt vote of thanks to everyone who made the event a resounding success.

Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) congratulated Dr. M.P. Poonia, Vice Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi on the extension of his tenure for 3 years.

प्राचीन कला केन्द्र पिछले 60वर्षो से निरंतर भारतीय संगीत एवं कला के प्रचार,प्रसार एवं विकास की ओर अग्रसर है ।

Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar told that tree plantation is necessary to protect rare species of wild animals. He gave away mementos and certificates to winners.

17वें हिमाचल उत्सव की आठवीं सांस्कृतिक संध्या गायक कार्तिक शर्मा और राजीव शर्मा के नाम रही। हिंदी पंजाबी नगमों के सरताज कार्तिक ने दर्शकों की मांग पर पहाडी नाटियां भी सुनाई । अंतिम सांस्कृतिक संध्या में हिमाचल उत्सव के संस्थापक उपाध्यक्ष मुकेश शर्मा की गायकी भी खूब सराही गई। मुकेश ने दिल है कि मानता नहीं और जाने जां ढूंढता फिर रहा जैसे गीत सुना कर दर्शकों को भाव विभोर कर दिया।

प्राचीन कला केन्द्र के प्रागंण में आज एक खूबसूरत शाम का आगाज हुआ जिसमें अमेरिका से आए शास्त्रीय गायक पंडित सुमन घोष द्वारा संगीत की खूबसूरत शाम का आयोजन किया गया ।
