Dr. Neena Sharma, Principal, MCM DAV College for Women, appreciated the dedicated efforts of the NSS volunteers and congratulated them on the successful conduct of the activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor, LPU, highlighted the importance of building sustained partnerships between universities and industry to ensure that academic learning remained closely connected with the requirements of a rapidly changing technology sector.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma commended the organising teams for their efforts and encouraged students and staff to develop a deeper understanding of the linkages between ozone protection, climate action and sustainable living.

The initiative was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal, GGDSD College, and Dr. Tarundeep Kaur, Head of the Aesthesia Club, whose encouragement and support contributed to its success.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director (Ad-interim), PEC, and Dr. Rajesh Kanda, Dean, Alumni Relations, with members of Shri Sudhir Gupta’s family, including Shri Daya Kishan Gupta, Mrs. Rashmi Gupta, Ms. Sunita Gupta and Mr. Aarush Gupta, in attendance.

On the occasion, Dr Neeza Singh, Librarian, T.S. Central State Library, Chandigarh, interacted with the students and spoke about the importance of the Hindi language in connecting people, preserving India’s rich cultural heritage and expressing thoughts and emotions.
