The inaugural session on March 12 will be graced by the Chief Guest, Prof Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of University of Delhi, and the Guest of Honour, Shri Manish Bhardwaj, Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority to be held at the Vice Regal Lodge.

The speakers included sports administrator Ranjit Bajaj, former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh, educators and digital content creators Karan Gulati, Rajat Arora and Hardik Banga, retired army officer Yashpal Singh Mor, as well as entrepreneurs Nikita Gupta and Shaguna Khetarpal.

In the address, Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, emphasized that entrepreneurship is driven by the ability to identify real problems and build meaningful solutions.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma asserted that the entire humanity bows before the great legacy of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and his supreme sacrifice for the welfare of humanity.

Speaking at the event, British Deputy High Commissioner Alba Smeriglio highlighted the importance of the Chevening Scholarships programme, the UK Government’s flagship global scholarship initiative that offers fully funded opportunities for outstanding students and professionals to pursue one-year master’s degrees at leading universities in the United Kingdom.

The grand success of the event was made possible through the constant encouragement and support of Dr. Mona Narang, Principal of DAV College, Chandigarh and the dedicated guidance of Dr. Gaurav Vats, Head of the Department of Management.

The Officiating Principal, Mrs. Neena Sharma, appreciated the initiative and lauded the Department of Zoology for organizing such a meaningful academic activity for the students.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor of CUH, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar; the Pro Vice-Chancellor of DSVV, Dr. Chinmay Pandya; the Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at CUH, Prof. Payal Kanwar Chandel; and the Head of the Department of Psychology at DSVV, Dr. Santosh Vishwakarma.
