Bilaspur, July 12: A team of meritorious ITI students from Himachal Pradesh, led by Town and Country Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training minister Rajesh Dharmani, departed from New Delhi for Kazakhstan today for an international exposure visit.
On this occasion while interacting with the students before their departure, Rajesh Dharmani said that the state government is continuously striving to provide quality technical education and international experience to the youth. He said that this exposure visit is a reflection of the government's vision to equip students with opportunities to gain firsthand knowledge of modern technologies, advanced industrial processes and global work culture.
He said that in today's competitive world, technical proficiency alone is not sufficient; a global perspective is equally essential. This exposure visit to Kazakhstan will significantly enhance the students' knowledge, skills and confidence. He added that the experience gained during the visit will prepare them to adopt new technologies, foster a spirit of innovation and improve their employment as well as self-employment prospects.
The Technical Education Minister further stated that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the State Government is implementing several innovative initiatives to strengthen technical and vocational education in line with contemporary industry requirements. Providing world-class training, industry-oriented skill development, and international learning opportunities to the youth remains one of the government's highest priorities.
He expressed confidence that during this exposure visit, students will not only gain new technical knowledge and practical experience, but will also be inspired by Kazakhstan's work culture, discipline and innovation. He urged the students to take maximum advantage of this opportunity and utilize the knowledge and experience gained to contribute to the industrial and technological development of Himachal Pradesh.
