Chandigarh, March 15 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Nayab Singh today shortlisted the applications received for various posts under the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN). Using innovative technology, he swiftly sent job offer letters via SMS to over 7,000 candidates with just a single click.

The Chief Minister has clarified that there are misconceptions being spread about inducements for employment within HKRN, which he asserts is entirely false. He also urged the people not to fall prey to any kind of temptation for doing any work in HKRN. The Chief Minister emphasized that the corporation provides employment opportunities on a contract basis to youth through a well-organized process that is entirely honest and transparent.

The candidates shortlisted today include posts from Level-1 to Level-3. These posts include 4216 posts of various teachers, 650 peons, 787 posts of safai karamchari, 466 posts of watchmen, 226 posts of Patwaris, 52 posts of drivers, 50 posts of shift attendants, 14 posts of staff nurses, 22 posts of legal assistants, 24 posts of assistant linemen and various other posts.

Shri Amit Khatri, the Chief Executive Officer of HKRN, highlighted that under the outsourcing policy, the Chief Minister has taken proactive steps to consolidate employees on a contract basis across various departments under one umbrella, thus safeguarding them from exploitation by contractors. He emphasized the significant role played by HKRN in this endeavor. Furthermore, he noted that the corporation has already provided numerous employment opportunities to youth, with selections conducted in an honest and transparent manner.

Chandigarh March 15 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh, in the gracious presence of former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, today laid the foundation stone of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial to be built on 5.39 acres of land at Umri Road, Kurukshetra. The construction of this memorial is slated to be accomplished at an estimated cost of Rs. 25 crore.

During his address at the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Memorial, former Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal said that in August 2023, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of a significant temple dedicated to Guru Ravidas Ji in Madhya Pradesh. Witnessing the magnificence of this endeavor, it sparked the thought of establishing a similar memorial in Haryana to ensure that the upcoming generations could continue to draw inspiration from the teachings of the revered saint. During his tenure as Chief Minister, he had announced the allocation of 5 acres of land in Kurukshetra for the construction of Guru Ravidas Ji's memorial, and today marks the laying of its foundation stone. The construction will be overseen by the Haryana Sehari Vikas Pradhikaran.

In homage to Guru Ravidas, Sh Manohar Lal said that he has implemented numerous welfare schemes during his tenure as Chief Minister, aimed at uplifting the underprivileged, empowering youth, women, and farmers across the state. New Voter Surge: Over 23 Lakh Added in Haryana's Electoral Voter List from 2019 to 2024 - Anurag Agarwal, Haryana Chief Electoral Officer

Chandigarh, March 15 - Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal, stated that the announcement of the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections could be made by the Election Commission at any time. In preparation for these elections, all the Chief Electoral Officers of states and Union Territories are fully engaged in election preparations. In Haryana, a total of 1 crore 98 lakh 23 thousand 168 voters will be eligible to participate in these elections.

Sh. Agarwal held a review meeting on election arrangement with department officers at the office today. During the meeting, it was informed that the number of voters in the 18 to 19 age group is 3 lakh 63 thousand 491, including 2 lakh 43 thousand 133 male voters and 1 lakh 20 thousand 339 female voters, who will be participating in the electoral process for the first time.

Similarly, the number of voters in the age group of 100 to 109 is 10,759, and there are 41 voters above the age of 120, out of which 8 voters are from Gurugram.

Sh. Agarwal informed that during the period from 2019 to 2024, more than 23 lakh new voters have been added to the voter list in the state. The final publication of this voter list was done on January 22, 2024.

This voter list has been made available to all political parties' representatives. If they believe that there are names of ineligible voters included in it or the name of any eligible voter is missing, they can provide this information to the respective District Election Officer's office in Forms 6, 7, and 8.

Haryana Government hikes the rate of Dearness Allowance of employees/ pensioners/ family pensioners

Dearness Allowance increased from 46 percent to 50 percent

Revised rate to be effective from January 1, 2024

Chandigarh, March 15 - The Haryana Government has issued orders to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) rate for the state government employees/pensioners/family pensioners. The revised rate, which has been increased from 46 percent to 50 percent, will be effective from January 1, 2024.

Sharing information in this regard here today, an official spokesperson said that the increased DA will start being paid to government employees with their March 2024 salary payable in April 2024. Along with this, the arrears for the months of January and February 2024 will be paid in the month of May, 2024.

The spokesperson further said that the state government has also issued orders to provide Dearness Relief (DR) to its pensioners and family pensioners from January 1, 2024, onwards. They will also be paid DR with their March 2024 pension/family pension payable in April 2024 and the arrears for January and February 2024 will be paid in May 2024.
