Chandigarh, March 14 - The newly appointed Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh Nayab Singh, today stated that Narendra Modi led government implemented welfare schemes, the benefits of which reached to the poor families. The people of the country have decided that for the third time, a government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be formed in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The people of Haryana will also contribute towards electing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on all 10 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh was talking to media persons in Haryana Bhawan Delhi, after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi on Thursday. He said that he had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had discussion on many contemporary issues. The ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to take everyone along and move the country forward. The double-engine government has done significant work in the past ten years, which is now visible to the people as New India-New Haryana, ‘Viksit Bharat- Viksit Haryana’. Haryana has developed a lot under the leadership of Shri Manohar Lal and it has emerged as an example of good governance. We will take this further and keep the pace of development going, asserted the CM.

When asked about the expansion of the cabinet, Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that he has had discussions on this matter, and decision will be taken soon. In response to a question about former Home Minister Shri Anil Vij, Chief Minister said, ”Vij Sahab is our senior leader, and we have his blessings. We were together in the Assembly yesterday as well”.

In response to another question, the Chief Minister said that candidates have been announced by BJP for the six Lok Sabha seats in the state, and remaining four will be announced soon. He claimed that the people of Haryana have made up their minds to vote in favour of BJP on all 10 seats in Haryana. Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that the people of the country and the state have not forgotten the misrule of Congress, when one had to stand in line for three days for getting a gas cylinder, and corruption was at its peak in every matter.

Asked about the breaking of alliance with the Jananayak Janata Party, the Chief Minister said that keeping the sentiments of the people in mind, a decision in this regard has been taken at higher level. This alliance was not at the Party level.

Haryana’s Directive on Contractual Employees

Chandigarh, March 14: The Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, has directed all administrative secretaries and department heads to promptly furnish information regarding contractual employees in Groups B, C, and D who have been serving for durations ranging from 5 to 7 years.

The order requires the submission of pertinent information within one week through special messenger to the Human Resources Branch. The Performa seeks details on the total number of contractual employees who have worked for more than 7 years but less than 10, as well as those who have served for 5 years but less than 7. Additionally, it specifies the need to categorize contractual employees who have worked beyond 10 years into Groups B, C, and D.

Chandigarh, March 14 - Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal said that the general elections of the Lok Sabha held after every 5 years are a part of the Indian tradition, recognised as the strongest democratic system in the world. It is not possible to maintain this pride of the country without exercising the franchise of voters. Therefore, every voter should use their vote and contribute to this virtue.

He said that the Election Commission conducts elections fairly and transparently through the Chief Electoral Officers of all the states and Union Territories. From a security perspective apart from the state police, companies of central armed forces are also deployed in the Lok Sabha elections. For the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana in 2024, 15 companies of central armed forces will be deployed, including 10 CRPF and 5 ITBP companies. The preparations for the initial phase of the elections have been completed. A review meeting has also been held regarding the deployment of companies. The Election Commission of India has also held meetings with election observers to provide necessary guidance, he added.

Sh. Agarwal said that "conducting elections fairly is our top priority. We are committed to fulfilling this and the police and excise departments are also conducting special checks”. So far, illicit liquor and narcotics worth about Rs. 5 crores have been seized.

Chandigarh, March 14 - Under the Chairmanship of Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, the Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with Cion Labs Private Limited, Bangalore, to promote and support innovators and start-ups in the KU through the Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, congratulated that Kurukshetra University has developed an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 and Industrial Revolution 4.0, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. He said that initiatives like these would assist in developing innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up skills among students, thus creating employment opportunities. Prof. Sachdeva emphasized that by becoming student entrepreneurs, students can contribute significantly to building a self-reliant and developed nation, and the incubation center of Kurukshetra University is playing a leading role in this.

On this occasion, KU Registrar Prof. Sanjeev Sharma congratulated everyone for this agreement. The representation of Cion Labs was made by its founder and CEO Dr. Sanjay Ahuja and his team members. KU Coordinator Professor Anuradha Sharma explained that the aim of this MoU is to conduct research in collaboration with the industry, organize expert workshops and training sessions, develop skills among students through various programs, provide facilities for technical transfer, and encourage start-ups and entrepreneurship.
