Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today conducted a comprehensive review of the Chief Minister Sahara Scheme and the Himcare Scheme here.

During the meeting, the Secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) informed that 1,707 flats at Maloya were allotted in 2020 for a tenure of 25 years under the Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHC) scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In addition, 285 flats were allotted to beneficiaries in 2022 for a tenure of five years.

Keeping in view the growing educational and community needs of local residents, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, Sh. Amit Kumar, today visited the community centres at Mauli Jagran and Sunder Nagar to review the requirements for strengthening library services in these areas.
