Chandigarh Mayor Sh. Saurabh Joshi has written to the Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh,Sh. H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS seeking immediate desilting, cleaning and strengthening works of N-Choe and Patiala Ki Rao ahead of the upcoming monsoon season to prevent flooding, waterlogging and public inconvenience across the city.

H Rajesh Prasad, Chief Secretary UT Chandigarh and other senior officers and employees of the Chandigarh Administration continued to observe “No Vehicle Wednesday” today to promote fuel conservation and environment-friendly commuting.

The survey campaign will commence from tomorrow and continue till June 15, 2026.
