Chandigarh, 27 September: The Career Guidance Cell of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised an interactive session on “Personality Graphics: Building a Social Impact”, focusing on personality development, career preparedness and the importance of social responsibility. The session featured Mr Akash Goyal, Skill Developer in UPSC , and Mr Shubham Aggarwal, IPS, SSP, Fatehgarh Sahib, who engaged with the students on various aspects of career development and responsible citizenship.

Mr Aggarwal spoke extensively about preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, sharing practical insights on approaching the examination, maintaining consistency, developing the right mindset and remaining focused throughout the preparation journey. Drawing from his own experiences, he enriched the interaction with personal anecdotes, making his guidance relatable and motivating for the students. He also emphasised the significance of a positive mindset, compassion, integrity and devotion to duty in both professional and personal life.

Officiating Principal Ms Neena Sharma appreciated the initiative and said that such interactive programmes provide students with valuable exposure to diverse career pathways while encouraging them to develop confidence, discipline and a strong sense of social responsibility. She emphasised that meaningful personality development goes beyond academic achievement and includes empathy, ethical conduct, resilience and a commitment to contributing positively to society.
